I know how to tell a story — and what it's made of.
It's been a varied decade. I spent the better part of it writing and directing video at Comedy Central. Before that, a Fulbright took me to Georgia for theater. I helped relaunch Turner's Super Deluxe with my series Future You, and ran a one-man sketch show, Augie, Alone., that the New York Times called a reason the web series remains an exciting form.
I've written for and directed A-list talent — Rob Lowe, Amy Poehler, Blake Griffin, Abbi Jacobson, Ilana Glazer — and built in-depth documentary work for the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors, exploring trauma-informed care in prisons, with the homeless, and in recovery centers in Washington DC.
Writer first. Director and producer all the way through. I know what elements shape the way a story should be told.
